What are Clinical Trials?
Clinical trials are research programs that use volunteers in order to:
Expand the knowledge on disease process.
Find better or new treatments.
Determine safety and efficacy of novel interventions.
Pre-Screening Visit and FibroScan
A pre-screening visit is conducted to evaluate your eligibility to participate in a clinical trial.
It consists of getting your medical history, performing a FibroScan and sometimes doing blood work.
This information will allow us to determine if you will qualify to participate in a clinical trial.
